This was the final team project at We Can Code IT. We created a web app to help patients and medical professionals monitor progress when it comes to physical rehabilitation. RehabIT is designed to replace those pesky paper wellness surveys in doctors offices and hospitals. Generally the patient has no measure of their improvement and has no idea where those surveys go, but we are solving that problem with our application. Patients can take their assigned survey, view their progress and watch videos specific to their injury that are assigned by their doctor or medical professional. We also went wild and added VR to the project, Nicolas Miner was the leader behind the VR and with the help of others on the team had that feature up and running in a couple days. As of right now, the VR is a proof of concept to eventually let patients and doctors view progress from MRI's, X-rays and other medical scans. I was incredibly happy to be a part of this project as I spent most of my time on the front end, learning and utilizing React. I also got to use Adobe Photoshop when it was time to make the logo. RehabIT is a fully decoupled full stack web application, using React, Java and Spring. We used ChartJS for the charts and A-Frame for the VR.

Our second group project, we are currently working on a review website. The theme we chose was to have users rate different life experiences, such as running, jogging, going to the dentist, filing for bankruptcy, etc. While others in our cohort chose to review beers, parks or the portfolios of other students, we went the humorous route. This project is still in production, it will be hosted on my server upon completion. Access to the github repo is posted below.

I had an itch to learn some JavaScript before we started it in class, so I found a tutorial on how to build a weather dashboard using API data from DarkSky and GoogleMaps. I am still learning the syntax and structure of the JS so I can make my own changes and tweaks. I also registered to get my own API keys from the respective vendors.

I modified the first lesson of JavaScript 30 and changed it from a drum kit to a soundboard with Mario sound effects. I added some if statements in JS to change the question boxes. It's pretty sweet. Visit Super Mario Soundboard!

This is a personal project to go along with our team project while we learn more about JavaScipt and API's. I am building this to be my own personal game collection tracker, I want eventually implement API's from eBay, or some other source, to track the value of my collection. I will also be working on adding an API to import data from an external source that will populate the game title and game information so I don't have to do it myself when I add to my collection.

The third team project I was on. We were tasked with creating an album collection app, so hipsters could keep track of their records. The ideal customer for this app would be somebody so retro that they would not want this app to play the music from a streaming service. Why stream it when you can just put the record on? Note: This project started in another depo, but due to a git ignore issue we uploaded into a new remote repo to ensure everything was still in place. Yes, we're still figuring out the quirks of Git.

This was a rather enjoyable crash course tutorial on how to build a basic webapp using React. My goal with this is to use what I learned and apply it to my capstone project and rebuild Super Game Collector as a React app.

This was built from a tutorial that focused on using an external API and React Router. This project really filled in the gaps of understanding while learning React during our capstone project.
